Our popular RTDF add on for Property Hive has been updated with a new setting allowing you to choose what to use as the reference number.
Using our Real-Time Data Feed plugin you can send properties to portals such as Rightmove and OnTheMarket in real-time with no delay. As soon as a property is updated in WordPress, this information is then automatically updated on the portal instantly.
In order to link a property in WordPress to the same property on the portal we need to have a unique identifier. This unique identifier is used in a number of places; it’s displayed on the portal, in enquiries and it’s used to obtain statistics,
Previously we would use the post ID in WordPress as this unique identifier as we can guarantee this number will always exists and will always be unique. However, an agent already normally has their own unique reference number for each property which they enter into Property Hive.
With this latest release we now give you the option to choose what to use as the unique identifier with the portals; either the WordPress post ID or the manually entered reference number.
Our recommended approach is to use the post ID as we can guarantee this is going to be unique, though the internal reference number for the property will mean more to the agent when used in correspondence. By allowing you to change this you can choose which to use.
We’ll be looking to make a similar change to the BLM Export add on soon, though we’ll announce when this is available.
If you have a license key you can update to this latest version of the RTDF add on right away through WordPress. Otherwise, the add on can be purchased by visiting the link below:
