2016 has been such a great year for us with so much functionality being released to make building property websites with WordPress even easier. In this post we’ll be looking ahead to the next 12 months and announcing just some of the key features we already have planned.
Viewings, Offers and Sales

This is already well underway and in the final review phase before getting released. Aimed at start-up agencies and small agencies that don’t use property software already, this new functionality will allow you to keep track of the following:
– Viewings – You’ll be able to record the viewing date and time, the applicant attending, which property is being viewed, as well as which negotiators (if any) are attending. Once the viewing is completed you’ll be able to record the applicants feedback, then progress the viewing onto a second viewing or an offer if they’re interested.
– Offers – Record the applicant making the offer, the offer amount, then track if the offer has been accepted or not. You’ll also be able to record the owner and applicant solicitors.
– Sales – Once an offer has been accepted you can convert it to a sale. As with offers, you can track all parties involved, including solicitors, as well as track the status of the sale (has it completed, has it fallen through etc)
Applicant Login Area
This is one of the most requested features of the year; for applicants to be able to login and perform regular actions. We’re pleased to announce that in 2017 we’ll be adding this functionality so applicants can register then begin to save searches and edit their requirements.
New ‘Reports’ Area
With all of your properties, applicants, viewings, offers, and sales stored in Property Hive, you’ll be able to see various analysis information; from applicant demand and current property stock, to sales pipelines. Useful statistics and pretty graphs will give you an overview on how your agency is performing.
Matching Functionality on Properties
You can already perform property matches on applicants. With this feature we’ll be adding the opposing functionality; being able to go into a property and see which applicants match it, then sending out the details via email.
The above is just a handful of what we’ve got planned for 2017. It will all be part of the free, core plugin with various add ons being released alongside to enhance functionality where required. We can’t wait to get cracking, and hope you’re as excited about this as we are.
