The weekly release of our core Property Hive plugin, version 1.5.7, is available for update now and contains a number of improvements around handling property enquiries made through your website, Rightmove, Zoopla, and more.
Let’s take a closer look at the changes included in this latest release:
Enquiries Listed On Contact Record
On a contact record we’ve added a new ‘Enquiries’ tab so you can see at a glance all of the enquiries made by this particular contact.
Notifications Of Existing Viewings Added To Enquiries
We know there are so many differing factors when it comes to enquiries. They come in via different channels, are dealt with by different negotiators, and sometimes a potential buyer or renter might email, and then shortly after email again or call to follow up.
To try and avoid following up enquiries that have possibly already been dealt with, we’ll now display a notification at the top of the enquiry record if a viewing has already been booked for this contact at the property they’re enquiring about, plus the ability to jump straight to the viewing in question.
Improved Applicant Creation From Enquiries
When an enquiry is received into Property Hive it’s always been possible to create a contact record off the back of this. We’ve made two improvements to this however:
Previously the contact would not go in as an applicant and was therefore easy to lose if you didn’t create their applicant profile there and then. With this update we now create them as an actual applicant if created from an enquiry about a property.
Related to the above, we’ll also set them up with a default applicant relationship using the price and bedrooms of the property they enquired about. We’ll display a notification so you know that this is what’s happened:
Counts Added To Tabs
Not enquiry specific, but worth mentioning nevertheless. On property and contact records we’ve now added counts to tabs such as viewings, offers, sales and enquiries so you can see at a glance how many there are of each, without needing to click into them.
And More…
- We’ve added a link to property enquiry emails sent to the agent allowing you to jump straight to the enquiry in WordPress. The link won’t be included if the Enquiries module is disabled or the GDPR settings specify enquiries shouldn’t be stored
- Changed email address shown on enquiry record to be a mailto link
- Updated jQuery UI CSS and images to match version of jQuery UI included by WordPress
Related to enquiries we’ve also got a new highly requested add on coming in the next few days aimed at enhancing the property enquiry forms so watch this space.
