There are a few features that get requested all the time by our users. We do our best to cater for these by listening to the most requested features and coming up with the best solution possible.
One of these frequently requested features was radial search and today we’re pleased to announce that this is now available as a small, but important and intelligent, premium add on.
What’s Intelligent About It?
Radial search on estate agent websites is nothing new and you’re likely to find the feature on most leading property sites. Being so common you might be led to believe that it’s a simple feature. However, there’s actually a lot going on behind the scenes as complex equations take place on latitude and longitude co-ordinates.
The other thing to note is that the WordPress database schema makes it incredibly difficult to run the aforementioned equations. We’ve come up with a way to combat this and, as a result, believe we’re one of the first property plugins to offer this as an off-the-shelf feature.
