Version 1.4.17 of Property Hive has just been released. In this post we’ll look at the new features contained within this release.
New Template Hook To Handle Off Market Properties
Even though when a property is removed from the market it doesn’t come up when a search is ran for properties on your website, it could always still be accesses by visiting the URL direct, when finding it via Google for example.
In this release we’ve now added a new template hook and template which will show when viewing a property which is not on the market.
Should you wish to remove this from your site you can do so by adding the following line to your themes functions.php file:
[php]remove_action( ‘propertyhive_before_single_property_summary’, ‘propertyhive_template_not_on_market’, 5 );[/php]
There has also been a new template added which can be found in /single-property/not-on-market.php which can be edited to control the HTML or message shown.
Other Noticeable Updates
– You can now filter between commercial properties that are for sale or to let by adding additional parameters to the query string. Add ‘commercial_for_sale=1’ to filter by for sale properties and ‘commercial_to_rent=1’ to filter by commercial properties to rent.
– We’ve removed the ‘Delete’ button from the primary office when editing offices under ‘Property Hive > Settings > Offices’. This is to prevent a scenario where a primary office wouldn’t exist and would mess up imports and more.
Although another small update, rest assured, we are working on much bigger features in the background and can’t wait to release and announce these to you.
