Exactly one month since our last release of Property Hive we’re back again with version 2.0.18. Sometimes a release contains a feature where we ourselves think “Damn, that’s good”, and this is one of them.
Let’s jump straight in and look at what’s included in this latest version:
Archive old records
For estate agents that have been using our in-built CRM functionality for a few years now, you might’ve found that you’re getting quite a backlog of data. Are old contacts, viewings, completed sales and more clogging up your system?
Well no more. We’ve introduced the ability to archive all records in Property Hive so you can move them to a separate area meaning you can benefit from improved performance and enhanced data management.
Archiving a record of any type is easy. Simply navigate to the item in question and click the new ‘Archive’ link:
You can also do this en masse via the main lists in the WordPress backend. Simply select the records you wish to archive and click the ‘Move to Archive’ bulk action.
Once archived, these records won’t show anywhere in lists or searches. They will however still be accessible by filtering the lists by the ‘Archived’ status where you’ll then be able to access the items in question and ‘Unarchive’ them if you need to.
Advanced date filtering added to enquiries list
We’ve added an advanced date filter to the enquiries list so you have more control over which enquiries are returned.
Allow enquiries to be pushed to Property Hive via the REST API
Sticking with the notion of enquiries, we’ve updated our support for the REST API to allow authenticated third parties to push enquiries back into the ‘Enquiries’ part of Property Hive.
This means portals or other third party services that take enquiries on behalf of the agent can all be put back into the same place for easy enquiry management.
If you’re interested in further information about this please see how to do this in our REST API documentation.
