Over the past few weeks we’ve been trying to maintain a more regular release schedule whereby every Monday we do a new release. This is working quite well and means we can give users a definitive day on when their requested change or other roadmap items will be available. It’s likely some weeks there will be nothing to release as we work on other add ons or bigger features, but for now we’ll stick to Mondays being release day for our core plugin.
Talking of releases being on Mondays, our latest version of Property Hive, 1.5.1, has been pushed and is available to download through WordPress now.
Let’s take a look at what’s been included in this latest update:
New Elementor Widgets
We’ve added five new Elementor widgets:
- Enquiry Form Link
- Floorplan Link
- EPC Link
- Brochure Link
- Virtual Tour Link
Previously these were all available as part of the ‘Actions’ widget which grouped them altogether, however by having them as separate widgets you could place them in different locations on the property details page, or style them differently allowing you to achieve the following:
With each of the widgets you can specify colours, alignment, backgrounds and more.
Rank Math SEO Support
We added support for Yoast SEO back in 2016 but this time it’s the turn of another popular SEO plugin, Rank Math SEO.
If you use Property Hive and Rank Math SEO on your estate agency website the following will occur:
- Off market properties will be removed from XML sitemaps
- Property Hive taxonomies will be removed from XML sitemaps
- Rank Math related columns will be removed from the main admin properties list

- Added filter ‘property_search_results_thumbnail_size’ to allow customisation of thumbnail size used in search results. New setting in Template Assistant add on utilises this
- Added event details to new viewing details lightbox
- Updated Fancybox jQuery library from 3.3.5 to 3.5.7
- Corrected issue with department not getting set by default in applicant registration form following new custom department feature
